New York City, Fashion Capital of the U.S.

Style is truly eclectic here... I have seen the gamut from suits and ties to grunge, goth, prep school, and everything in between, including those with their own sense of style... or not. I swear, some people must roll out of bed and decide on their individual pieces of clothing with no regard for matching. People in Washington Square Park are particularly um... unique.

Hmmm... I think I'll wear that camouflage t-shirt with the filmy black ballet skirt and... let's see. Maybe I'll pair those with the red pinstriped men's button-up shirt, perhaps with the tails tied in a knot at the waist... and the thigh-high black platform combat boots would be the perfect touch!*

(*I'm not entirely joking here. I've seen outfits similar to this in the park on any given day. The crowning outfit was a yellow tulle tutu-like skirt paired with a hot pink midriff t-shirt... I was so fascinated by the combination while trying not to stare that I didn't notice what else the girl was wearing!)

Sadly, I do not have any photos... yet. That will change when warmer weather arrives, I promise. I'll spend a day in the park, just to get a good photo or two.
